Farm History
The Wells Tavern was a working, public gathering place for locals and visitors during the 18th and 19th centuries. It was built by my relative many generations back, and has been owned by our family for all but about forty years, and since the 50's, registered Jersey dairy cows, and sheep have roamed the farm pastures. Now, we mend and put up fences for pastured Jerseys, Belties, pigs, geese, sheep and chickens, and are pleased to be albe to share the bounty of old-time farming knowledge and taste with our local neighbors.
