And we have a few last "Everyday Roasting Chickens." Raised on our small farm and fed New England produced, all-vegetarian grain, and never treated with hormone enhancements, or antibiotics/medications. Birds weigh approx. 3.5 pounds each @ $4.50/lb. If we are out of stock when you contact us, please note that we will not have any more available until May 2012.

Our Promise and Philosophy:

We  have carefully considered and chosen old genetics from breeds that belong in our climate, and who are well-suited to grass pasture and off-season hay consumption. We raise  livestock for conservation both on our own farm, and for sale to others, so that they may also enjoy these rare breeds.

 

We  do not use: growth hormones, chemicals, medications (unless medically necessary) or feed grains with strange feed additives.

 

Our heritage breeds include: Tamworth, Large Black, Red Wattle, Belted Galloway, Pilgrim Goose and others.
